Meet Dr. Norman Bunch

Dr. Norman Bunch, an exceptional dentist in Tucson, would like to welcome you to Northwest Children’s Dentistry. As a specialist in the field of pediatric dentistry, he believes in offering an individualized experience focused on prevention and acquiring lasting helpful behaviors. Dr. Bunch believes that a lifelong appreciation of oral health starts in childhood with prevention and good dental experiences. His primary goal is be a positive member of each child’s comprehensive healthcare by helping parents raise children who enjoy visiting the dentist.

Dr. Bunch maintains a strong commitment to community involvement and staying up-to-date with the evolving specialty of pediatric dentistry. He serves as the Program Director for Arizona’s Pediatric Dental Residency based in Tucson, AZ. He is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Dental Association, and Pima Dental Study Club. Dr. Bunch is currently the Southern Arizona co-State Team Leader for Head Start. Previous community service activities include First Things First Regional Counsel Member (Northwest Tucson) and activist for water fluoridation and dental care for underprivileged children in Washington state. After practicing for 5 years in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Bunch and his wife, Dr. Marshall, returned to Tucson, Arizona in 2008 to raise their growing family. Dr. Bunch was born and raised here in Tucson and is a graduate of Canyon del Oro High School.

Dr. Bunch enjoys sharing his free time with his wife and fellow Tucson, AZ dentist, Dr. Marshall, and their three sons. He is often found outdoors. Dr. Bunch enjoys running, hunting, fishing, and outings with his sons. He also enjoys the rewards of practicing pediatric dentistry, especially contributing to a generation of children who enjoy visiting the dentist.

 

Meet Dr. Jennifer Marshall

Dr. Jennifer Marshall (DDS, MSD) is a board-certified pediatric dentist at Northwest Children’s Dentistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1999 and Pediatric Dental specialty training with a Master of Science in Dentistry in 2004, both from the University of Washington. She has written scholarly articles in jaw growth and autism in the field of pediatric dentistry. Dr. Marshall is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the local Pima Dental Study Club. Her professional mission is to help parents raise children who enjoy going to the dentist. To that end, she emphasizes dental prevention to foster a lifelong appreciation of good oral health for children and their families.

When not at her dental office, Dr. Marshall can often be found volunteering for a variety of causes. She is a den leader for Cub Scouts, a board member for a local preschool, an active member of the Parent Association for her children’s schools, and a team mom for many of her children’s sports teams. She and her husband Dr. Norman Bunch, also a pediatric dentist, strongly emphasize time spent with their three children. Having grown up working on a farm in Idaho, she enjoys organizing her family’s many outdoor and other physical activities. Her favorite pastime is reading, and she tries to curl up with a good book or listen to audiobooks whenever she can.
