In-Office Fluoride Treatments

If you've been to our office, you may have had an in-office fluoride treatments.  What does that mean for your child?

We use fluoride treatments because they have been shown to decrease tooth decay rates. We typically recommend in-office fluoride treatments twice per year for all ages. For those children with high risk for tooth decay, we recommend these treatments more often.

For toddlers and preschoolers, we use a topical fluoride varnish that is “painted” onto the teeth, which does not require the child to wait 30 minutes to eat or drink.

As your child's pediatric dentist in Tucson, we want to take care of all your children's dental needs.  If you have any questions, feel free to call us at (520) 544-8522.
