Those first teeth usually erupt around 6 to 8 months old and are called primary teeth. You generally see the two front bottom teeth (lower central incisors) first, followed by the two front top teeth (upper central incisors). By the time your bundle of joy is 3 years old, they should have all 20 primary teeth. Permanent teeth won't start appearing until your kid turns 6 years old.
